Rameshwar Lal Godara

Rameshwar Lal Godara is currently the Secretary at UrmulSetu. He has served as a developmental practitioner for over three decades in the desert districts of western Rajasthan. He has been enabling sustainable ecosystem at the grassroots and has supported and set up many Farmer Producer Organisations in the region. As a girl child education expert, he has been extremely instrumental in promoting continuance of schooling for girls, prevention of female foeticide and early marriages of young and adolescent girl children. He has guided Desert Resource Centre since its inception and helped shape technical expertise geared for rural desert communities.
